He quit his job at a corporate to follow his dream.
Relocated to another country. Changed his name to sound local.
To raise the pre-seed round he married a rich girl.
He didn’t have any prototype, and his pitch deck was watery. No trustworthy data, only vision.
Yes, he had the vision, and always believed in it.
And when the times were very tough and the board members wanted to let him go he found the arguments they couldn’t deny.
Well, he also had impressive hard skills.
That caught the attention of some angel investors that supported him. Later he kicked them out from captable. There was no other choice, these big VCs made him do that.
Oh yes, he and his team secured a round with venture capital.

And he delivered. Even though it cost him life. Sadly he couldn’t see the results of his work. But his loyal team shipped.
